HOW IT WORKS:

*RV Camper Share (RVCS) Provides: Marketing & Advertising, verification of renters and insurance, rental coaching, payment processing, and continued back-end support.

*Camper owners set prices and availability on their calendar attached to their listing.

Camper owners have full control and right to deny any renters application for appropriate reasoning. Once booking is accepted and confirmed Camper owners may not cancel the booking as the renter has made specific plans for their family’s vacation. The only cancellation that should ever occur from the owner is if there was damage to the camper that would not allow it to be rented. Confirmation emails will be sent out to all parties once booking is confirmed and 2 days prior to their stay. Renters must not exceed the capacity of the Camper.

RV Camper Share (RVCS) will suggest appropriate pricing for the camper once owner submits an application along with pictures of their camper for approval to list with RVCS. Once accepted, owners will create an account with their username and password and have full accesss to update their listing with pictures and availability on their calendar. Most Campers will rent for $150-$185/ night and may require a 2 or 3 night min. Renters are to provide insurance on the camper through their own insurance company or owner’s MBA Choice insurance program if available on the unit.

*Campers must be in 100% working condition, neat in appearance, and clean!

*Property managers: Owners may upload a “how to video” to their listing to show the mechanics and operation of their camper for renters reference when they check themselves in, or the Owner may also check in renters. Owners may also designate 1-3 neighbors as back up to assist renters with questions and to do final inspection walk through once renter checks out, or Owners will have upto 72 hours to do their own inspection and notify RVCS of any damages. Campground owners are Not the property manager for your camper. You will give them a set of keys for renters to check in/ out at the registration office.

*Personal equipment: RVCS suggests that owners keep their personal belongings locked in a storage compartment but leave basic items such as camping chairs and kitchen utensils available for use. Owners may require renters to bring their own bedding or provide bedding; their choice. Owners can keep their own or an extra set of clean bedding locked in storage for their next use. Additional equipment such as: canoes, kayaks, bikes, and toys may be mentioned in the listing for additional rent. Allowing Golf carts to be rented out are strictly upto the Campground.

*Cleaning: Campers must be perfectly clean prior to renting, and renters are to leave the campers 100% clean when checking out and get rid of all garbage. If renter does not leave it as clean as they found it, the owner may charge a cleaning fee; most cases will be $50. Camp fires must be put 100% out.

*Firewood: Owners may supply wood, charge for wood, or require renters to bring their own firewood. Some Campgrounds will require renters to purchase firewood from the campground.

*Pets: Owners may or may not allow pets. Some owners may allow some small pets and if so pets MUST be on a leash at all times! Any allowed pet must be current on all shots.
